Gallery Installations

These installations emerge from the artist’s independent studio practice, developed outside of commissions or collaborations. Drawing on personal experience, they explore material, spatial composition, and metaphor.

Techniques include hot glass sculpting, often threaded on thin stainless steel cable, exception of one piece, “Expectations” (2011) used red fabric thread.  Some other works were incorporating lamp-worked glass formations to accompany solid hot glass works.

The pieces primarily use clear glass for optical clarity, accented with small colored glass and lamp-worked netting or parts to enhance form and texture. These works have been exhibited in galleries across Oakland and Fremont between 2011 and 2023.
