Flower Trail

Reminiscent of the wildflowers that line local trails, this artwork was inspired by clusters of flowering yellow fennel growing alongside of Alameda Creek.

This installation includes about 900 mouth-blown glass spheres in colors varying from yellowish green, bright yellow, and golden topaz. The floral spheres are mounted on flower clusters made of steel.
